HPPC is hosting a United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), team on September 27th -30 from Stetson Wesley in Deland, Florida. This group of college students will be staying on-site and working on Hurricane Irma Rehab projects locally. UMCOR is a mission of the United Methodist Church that brings God’s hope, healing, and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by war, conflict or natural disaster.
UMCOR provides humanitarian relief and disaster response to people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. We are excited to have another UMCOR group on-site again. Be sure to thank them for their work when you see them around the church this weekend.
