Newsletter – November 17, 2023

‘Tis the season for our Guardian ad Litem Toy Drive. You can be an Advent Angel!

1. Buy new toys (do not wrap) and gift cards for the children within the Guardian ad Litem program.
2. Place under the Chrismon Tree on Dec. 3rd, 6:00.
3. Bring to church no later than Noon on Dec. 10.

Toys should be for toddlers to older teens, and multi-cultural given the diverse population amongst the children. Gift cards and monetary donations are also welcome — HPPC Mission Elves LOVE to shop!

Take advantage of Black Friday deals happening now, and make Christmas extra special for these children.
Thank you!!

Sun. Nov. 19th – Kids Linger Longer Noon until 3:00
Parents go for lunch, shopping (hey, buy those gifts for the toy drive!), or some simple downtime time after service. We will keep your children happy until 3pm. Lunch provided. $10 per child. Register and Pay on Church Center.

We  need your empty toilet paper rolls!

You’ll be amazed at how these will be transformed into adorable Christmas Crackers during the Advent Workshop on Sunday, Dec. 3rd at 4:30! Please bring these to the church … as they become “available”!

Nov. 26th right after 10am Worship: Deck the Halls Party
Come Fa-la-la-la-la with us!

Join us for a Deck the Halls Party! Many hands – large and small – (and feet on ladders) are needed to decorate Hyde Park to get us ready for the Advent/Christmas Season. Special projects for Kids, Adults, Inside and Outside.
Light lunch, music and fun!

“Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”    – Colossians 3:17
Consider this message from Paul as you complete your Pledge Form for 2024, which includes your Annual Pledge, your pledge of Time & Talent, and a Kickstart offering.

Please return your Pledge Form by Nov. 26th.
You can mail it back, place it in the Offering Plate, or email
