FREE LEGO STEAM EVENT, Sunday April 7th 1-3 pm

Don’t miss your chance at this SNEAK PEEK into our STEAM-based Summer Camps! Join us at HPPC/Apollo Academy from 1 -3 pm for Legos, battle bots, arts & crafts and a bouncy house. This is a great opportunity to learn more about ESTEAM Learning Labs, Apollo Academy, Hyde Presbyterian Church and support End 68 Hours of Hunger.

Please bring microwavable rice or instant rice to donate to End 68. These volunteers put nourishing food in the hands of 500+ local school children to carry them through EVERY weekend throughout the school year.

Ruth Finds Love in a Barley Field”
For their 2024 spring summer production, the Hyde Park Thesbyterians  (4th through 6th graders) are working with Stacey Crum on the story of Ruth.World premiere video will be in lieu of a sermon July 14. Reserve your pew now!
Easter 2024
Easter morning – what’s not to love? Beloved hymns belted out by a full-throated congregation, a first rate sermon by our super interim minister, bundles of babies and kids with Miss Faith, an Easter egg hunt under our old oak tree, and oh, you know, Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead! Alleluia!.

Seeking a Facilities Superintendent
Salaried, 30 hrs/week, flexible schedule
The Facilities Superintendent maintains and oversees all grounds, building, and equipment belonging to Hyde Park Pres relating to its preparation and se. Duties include grounds and building maintenance, oversight of service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations for proper usage and coordinating renovations and updates.Required: resume with references; 3 years of relatable experience; high school diploma or equivalent; good communicator; successful background check.
Annual salary: $32,000 – $38,000.

Many thanks to Kim Brannan for her Lenten Bible Study. Through Zoom (and technical assistance from Bruce Orand and Harriet Plyler) this fascinating study on 7 individuals reached people both near and far. Twenty-four people, about half in person and half via Zoom, joined in the study.
