It is with sadness that we share the news that longtime member Brenda Kinley died a few days ago. Brenda served faithfully as an Elder, president of the Presbyterian Women, a Sunday School teacher, and a leader of Women’s Bible Studies.

Her Memorial Service at Hyde Park Pres will be TOMORROW, Thursday, August 14th at 11am.  Visitation is TODAY, August 13th from 5-7pm at Blount & Curry Life Event Center at 605 S. MacDill Avenue.

The CrossWalkers are Back! 

The young-ish adults are back from summer fun and will meet at Carol & Bob Kline’s home in the Bayou. Dinner, catching up and discussion. Bring a friend, or come solo!

Please welcome Cynthia as the new Family Specialist in Thornwell’s Building Families Program, located right here in an office at Hyde Park Presbyterian. She earned a BA in Psychology, MA in Marriage & Family Therapy, and has had a background in full-time ministry for 25 years, Substance Abuse Counseling, specializing in PTSD and is a trained Trauma Therapist.

I’m passionate about helping families and individuals rebuild trust and healthy attachment at the highest level possible, by repairing emotional ruptures and improving communication within the family system.”

Thornwell specializes in bringing hope to families and helping them rebuild stronger than ever. They have numerous programs available that include meeting in the office, in home and via tele-health. Treatment is provided with science and evidence-based therapeutic models with proven outcomes.
