Founded in 1914, Hyde Park Presbyterian has served Tampa and the neighborhood of Hyde Park for over 100 years. Our vision statement gives us direction. We want to share God’s love with our neighbors through worship, service, learning and fellowship. You are welcome to join us for worship.
Our church is on the crest of a new beginning. We have begun a new era with the blessing of an interim pastor, Rev. John Hougen, and during the next period of time we will be engaged in the search for a permanent pastor. Our Session is filled with passionate lay leaders who are devoted to Christ and His church. They are leading the charge to involve members and visitors alike to create our future together. Task forces meet regularly to brainstorm and plan new programs, outreach, and fellowship events.
Services are conducted with a blend of traditional and contemporary, with music provided by Cheryl Cox, organist, and guest vocalists.

In fact, our church and clergy are involved in the full cycle of life, from birth through lifelong Sunday School and church, family night suppers, helping our community, and having memorial services as loved ones are taken into the arms of God.
