Jan. 27: Parenting Under Pressure
Have you found yourself yelling more? Anxiety at an all-time high? Parental pressures and stress create changes in our bodies that make stress management difficult to navigate. Bring another stressed out parent with you!

CHURCH NEWS
2023 NEW PRAYER CHALLENGE
Last fall we began in-depth efforts to grow and rebuild our beloved church. With the help of Leighton Ford
Ministries, a church wide survey was conducted in October and focus group interviews were held with 24 active members in November.
In January and February, the leadership of HPPC will be engaging over the next few months in planning retreats to pinpoint key areas of priority, exploring key issues related to our worship, ministry, outreach, education, membership, building and staff to create a comprehensive plan for HPPC.
How can we all best help?
By Committing to Pray!
How often? TWICE A DAY.
WHEN? At 8:28 am and 8:28 pm
Why such an odd time? Praying at the same time, twice a day, will help us get into a predictable habit. We have chosen this specific time to unite all of us with the promise of Romans 8:28 which proclaims … “We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to His purpose.”
We believe that we are called by God here at HPPC and we desire to see His will and purposes fleshed out here at HPPC. Join us. Pray twice a day at 8:28!!
Prayers of Comfort
Please keep all the Bryant family in your prayers, asking for God’s solace and comfort during this difficult time. Psalm 34:18 proclaims, “God is very near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Guy Bryant lost his sister Terri Barnack, in Buffalo, NY after a struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. Guy is very close in age to his sister and they were very close. Two days after, his wife Nancy lost her mother Jean Bond, who had been living with them for the past year as she was struggling with aging and poor health. Megan and her sister were extremely close to their “Gran.” It is hard to lose two special family members in such a short amount of time.
Theresa “Terri” Barnack, sister of Guy Bryant (Nancy) and aunt of Megan Bryant Liebl, passed away on January 6, 2023.
Bonnie Jean Bond, mother of Nancy Bryant, passed away on January 8, 2023. A service is scheduled for January 29th at 2:00 at First Baptist Church of Tampa, 302 W Kennedy Blvd., with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jean Bond’s life. Click for obituary.
