End 68 Advent Countdown
During the advent season the Missions ministry hopes you will not only provide toys for the guardian ad litem children but will also participate in a Waiting for Christmas Advent Activity. Each day between now and Christmas, place an item needed by the children in End 68 Hours of Hunger in bags which can be found in your pew on Sunday Dec. 3rd.
The bags should be returned by January 1 so they can be used for the children when they return from their Christmas holiday. Lists of needed items are in the bags.
And of course, you may also donate via our Amazon wish list or write a check to help out some of the 700 kids we are now feeding every week. Thanks and enjoy the wait!

A Night of Crafts, Cookies, Chili, Carols & Chrismon Tree Lighting
The downstairs fellowship hallway was alive with Christmas cheer and joy, old friends and new friends, last Sunday. Many many thanks go to Stacey Crum, who championed one of HPPC’s cherished traditions and led the Chrismon Service with a message “A Thrill of Hope”; Jett Tanner who introduced adorable Christmas cracker/poppers and Jesse Trees to newer members (and to those whose dog at some of the tree ornaments), and Kim Brannan who brought together a feast of 7 different chilis. Chili chefs were Bruce Orand & Marc Wallace (Most Unique); Sandy Kennedy; Stacey & Josh Crum; Lynda Waters (Most Flavorful); Patty LeFevre; Laura Tanner (Best All Around); and Kim Brannan.
Five young ladies from Plant High School’s a cappella women’s chorus brought beautiful music to both the workshop and the Chrismon service.
