Coming this Sunday …

If you were to overhear someone saying that you are a meek person, how would you feel about that? When Jesus goes into the display window of life and changes all the price tags, things you have valued are now of little value. Things that you thought were worthless are now given great value. Won’t you join the conversation?

Click below for a 90 second sneak peek at Sunday’s message, or go to the Hyde Park Presbyterian Facebook page.

Sunday Sneak Peek!

Summertime Sunday School fun continues!

After Children’s Time, the kids are dismissed for a movie, activities and snacks. This week we’ll talk about what does it means to be called by God? How can we follow God when it’s scary? PLUS–we’ll build simple boats with foil, popsicle sticks and straws and enjoy yummy ham, cheese, pineapple Hawaiian sliders!

Drop (Off) Your Drawers—Help Solve the “Drawer Dilemma”
Something as small as a pair of underwear can have a big impact.School starts next month, and many children in our community “shop” at the Clothes to Kids Store on Hillsborough Ave to get their back-to-school clothing. In addition to school clothes, Clothes to Kids gives each child 5 sets of NEW underwear and socks to start the school year. In Hillsborough and Pinellas County alone, that means providing over 80,000 undies for kids in need!

How can Hyde Park Pres help?

Each year HPPC helps Clothes to Kids meet this need in our community. If you are able, purchase NEW in the package underwear for kids age pre-K, to seniors in high school. Young women’s sizes 5-9, boys knit boxers and young men’s knit boxers are a specific need.

Please bring the packages to church by July 27–or use the Amazon list at:

Let’s see if we can reach the goal of 100 sets of underwear by the end of July!🩲🩳

Thanks, from your Missions Ministry

Next week is our next Communion Sunday (August 3rd), and Manna Bags will be available in the foyer/narthex before and after church. The cost is $5 and includes a Breadcoin.
