Sat. Nov 4, 8am-Noon and Sat. Nov 11, 2-4pm
Yard Prep Needed for Tent Arrival!
We need all “hands on deck” for these work days. The Manse (aka Bungalow on Willow) will be under the tent on Friday, Nov. 17th, as part of the church’s termite contract. They require the shrubbery, leaves, etc., be removed/cleared from all around the house and some fence sections removed. People need to bring gloves; shovels, clippers, and rakes are supplied. Don’t let Bryan Alspach be the only person to show up!
Sun. Nov. 12th following Worship: Families on the Playground & Stewardship Lunch for All.
There’s food, fun, fellowship, and information! Breakfast yummies on the playground and soup and sandwich lunch in the Conference Room where we can all watch the fun on the playground. Don’t miss the chance to mingle and munch!
Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who belong to the family of faith.” – Galatians 6:9-10
Please note this is the 3rd Sunday!
Sunday, Nov. 26 Congregational Meeting

Immediately following the Benediction, we’ll all bring out the holly and fa la la’s to start decorating the Sanctuary for Christmas, and await the arrival of our Session Moderator to start this important Congregational Meeting.
SUNDAY
In Person Worship & Communion in the Sanctuary at 10 am Rev. Scott Moncrieff, Guest Pastor
We will celebrate The Lord’s Supper this Sunday, led by Rev. Scott Moncrieff. Please plan on joining us, and introduce yourself to Scott and his wife, Sue.
Classes for Children and Adults follow Worship. Adult Class: Favorable Opinion of Jesus May Not Lead to Commitment to Follow Him. We’ll explore the importance of resilient faith in a spiritually open culture, discuss how to grow as disciples of Christ, and how to help others in their spiritual journeys.
Children are “shepherded out” of Worship after the Children’s Time, and their classes follow.

Welcome Luke Carter Leibl
After a long, arduous labor, and C-section, Luke Carter Leibl was welcomed to the world by mom and dad Megan and Chris Leibl. He was 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Congratulations to the new family, and Grandpa Guy and Grandma Nancy Bryant! Praise God from whom all blessings flow for this new addition to our church family.
Thank You (and breaking news) from Thornwell.
Dear Friends at Hyde Park Presbyterian,
Thank you for your recent gift to Building Families and your continued support. We are so grateful for your hearts to serve and care for children and families. The impact your support and prayers are making creates generations of healthy families and safe children. We couldn’t do what we do without you all … Thank you!
Blessings,

Breaking news: Kendall Bowlin McLaren has moved into her Building Families office at Hyde Park Pres. Look for her story and photos in a future issue!
Daylight Saving Time Ends This Weekend!
Clocks will FALL BACK (some by themselves, some not)
The time is about to change again. Daylight saving time, which began in March, ends on Sunday, Nov. 5. That means brighter mornings but darker evenings when we fall back an hour to Eastern Standard Time.
We’re working on making sermons
available online.
Our IT team of Bruce Orand and Marc Wallace are working hard on being able to stream the sermon/worship service online. “What Mask Are You Wearing” is now on YouTube “LIVE” … Click This Link and check it out! Please email the office with any difficulties encountered to help tweak the process.
Also, Sandy Kennedy is working with our internet website advisors on getting the Sunday Sermons page on our website up and running. We have several printed docs of sermons given by some of our own elders, and will also have the video sermons available as work progresses.
THANK YOU to all working behind the scenes to get the myriad technical details worked out. And thank you for your patience and understanding during the work in progress!
