Would you like to help?

Boots were on the ground early … and helping hands ranged from young to old … inside and outside houses! Plenty left to do!

There are so many ways you can help and the need is great! Please CLICK HERE to  see options or send your name, cell phone and email to Jett Tanner at jett.tanner@gmail.com or by text at 813-625-0251 and she will match you with
someone in need.

Stacey Crum is going to the Orand’s 5-7pm Tuesday; would love some company 813-316-6138.

Remember: the water is nasty!
Gloves, Masks, Clorox Wipes available!

Clorox Wipes: wipe down everything you are keeping. If not, mold will grow. (This is from Jett’s experience from taking care of her 3-yr project for her parents’ home.) Lysol spray will also work.

Wear gloves and a mask! Salt water, mixed with  contaminated sewer water, is not to be messed with. Wear gloves, a mask, and keep any scrapes or cuts clean and scrubbed! We have gloves and masks; contact Jett.

Receipts: Any one affected should keep every single receipt … every penny. Take pictures constantly. Do not rely on advocates or adjusters. KEEP RECORDS. Find an envelope and tape it somewhere easy to stuff them in (maybe in your car) so you don’t lose them in the mess.

Friday, Oct. 4th @ 5:00pm
Come Cook With Us at Lynda’s

It’s time to make some more casseroles; our freezer is bare! We always keep a supply of frozen meals for those who have health issues, new babies and life events. As we all know, the needs are huge with so many others recently displaced from their homes. Lynda Waters will be hosting the cooking fest at 314 N Lauber Way. Ingredients are provided and it’s always fun, so please plan on coming Friday, October 4th at 5:00pm.

RSVP to Lynda, just so we can be prepared, but come at the last minute if you can!
