With Kathy Baumann’s retirement after more than 3 decades, Kimber George, our Office Administrator, has now taken over the additional role of Financial Secretary. Kimber holds an MBA, and with one year of office administration under her belt, we are confident she will serve HPPC with the high standards and confidentiality we all have long appreciated. However, we recognize that asking one person to complete all the job duties formerly performed by two people would be unduly challenging, at least in the beginning. So, through the Lenten season, our very own Lynda Waters will be assisting for 10-15 hours a week during the transition as Interim Office Assistant.
Kimber George, Office and Financial Administrator, will be in the office Monday through Thursday. She can be reached for financial correspondence at finance@hydeparkpres.com; phone ext. 2.
Lynda Waters will be in the office generally mid-days Monday, Wednesday and Friday or as schedules dictate; her main focus will be the Bulletin, Church Calendar, Directory and phone. She may be reached at admin@hydeparkpres.com; ext. 1.
The office hours for conducting business are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday; 9:00 am – Noon on Friday. Pastor James Friesen’s day off will be Thursday.
Through this transition the personnel committee will be assessing the office staffing needs and will get a good idea of the type of person we should hire and for what duties and hours after Lynda has helped us through the transition.
