Time to Grow! and Don’t forget to RSVP To the Congregational Meeting!
Hello HPPC members and friends. It is no secret that 2020 has been a tumultuous year all around! Through these changing times, we have all learned how to be connected and experience growth in our lives in new ways. Much like you, HPPC is excited to see what 2021 has in store! We are so glad you are a part of this family and you are each a huge part of the growth planned for Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in 2021.
October is stewardship month; you should have received a packet of seeds, along with your pledge card, in the mail this week. As you prayerfully consider your pledges, make a date to stop by the church to take action for new growth. On Swann Avenue, just to the right of the sanctuary by the white door, we have set up a planter. Please plant your seeds as a community in the planter box when you drop off your pledge card envelope. There is a mail slot in the door right behind the planter where you may drop your pledges. Check out this video to see exactly where, and hear more about this project. You can also send your pledges in the mail if you are not able to stop by.
We will have a congregational meeting on November 8th in celebration of your 2021 gifts. It will be a time to share the exciting new growth God has planned for us in 2021 together. Don’t forget to RSVP!
